Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley is seeking a senior executive to lead the Interventional and Procedural Services Platform. The VP will align OR, Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, Endoscopy, and related care areas under a unified strategy.

This role requires seven-plus years of leadership in perioperative and interventional services, with strong financial and operational acumen and physician-partner collaboration.

Qualifications

• Seven years of progressive leadership experience in perioperative, procedural, interventional, service line, or hospital operations.
• Strong financial, operational, and quality oversight experience.
• Ability to lead through influence in a dyad/triad model with physicians, nurses, and administrators.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the multi-year strategy for the Interventional and Procedural Services Platform, aligned with SHC Tri-Valley priorities.
• Chair or sponsor the Interventional Services Executive Council and ensure disciplined governance for strategy, access, capacity, quality, capital, staffing, supply chain, and financials.
• Define decision rights for block time, access, staffing, capital, and policies; represent priorities to executives and stakeholders.
• Provide executive oversight for OR, Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, Endoscopy, and related operations.
• Establish cross-platform standard work for readiness, case flow, turnover, and recovery throughput.
• Lead integration to reduce variation, improve room utilization, and increase first-case starts.
