Job summary

Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley is seeking a Manager of Perioperative Services to lead day-to-day operations of perioperative nursing and clinical services, including OR, PACU, and recovery areas, with focus on staffing, room flow, and safety.

The role requires a BSN, preferred MSN/Healthcare Admin, at least five years clinical perioperative experience and two years leadership; California RN license and BLS; join a team dedicated to patient-centered care and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in nursing required.
Master’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or related field preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of clinical perioperative experience.
Minimum of two (2) years of formal or informal leadership experience.
CA Registered Nurse license and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day perioperative operations, staffing, case readiness, and room flow.
Lead daily huddles, address staffing gaps, equipment constraints, and recovery bottlenecks.
Supervise nurse managers and staff; support recruitment, onboarding, and performance feedback.
Promote accountability, psychological safety, service excellence, and teamwork.
Monitor quality, safety events, regulatory readiness, and ensure C-I-CARE adherence.
