Lexington Habitat for Humanity, Inc., doing business as Habitat for Humanity of Fayette and Franklin Counties, seeks a Chief Executive Officer to scale the organization into a full-spectrum affordable housing developer with a charitable mission.

The CEO will lead a complex, multi-line operation, implement a sustainable operating model, and drive expansion initiatives including CHDO designation and land acquisition pipelines.

Qualifications

• Financial acumen to lead a sizable, diverse organization.
• Proven ability to take initiatives through to completion with project discipline.
• Experience with local, state and federal partners to secure capital and grants, plus fundraising.
• Creative thinking about sustainability in affordable housing or related field.
• Experience leading long-tenured staff and managing change.

Responsibilities

• Lead an organization with multiple lines of business.
• Set direction, sequence into executable steps, and ensure accountability.
• Oversee operations including construction, mortgage origination, retail, and development.
• Manage relationships with the board, funders, and community partners.
• Plan and advance CHDO designation and land pipeline expansion.
