Habitat for Humanity of Fayette and Franklin Counties in Lexington, Kentucky, seeks a Chief Executive Officer to scale the organization from a charitable builder to a full affordable housing developer with a charitable mission.

With a staff of about 47, seven direct reports, and an active development pipeline, the CEO will lead strategy, governance, fundraising, and partnerships to advance community housing and CHDO goals.

After forty years serving Fayette County and a new expansion into Franklin County, Habitat for Humanity of Fayette and Franklin Counties (formerly Lexington Habitat for Humanity) seeks a Chief Executive Officer to scale the organization from a charity that builds and repairs homes into an affordable housing developer with a charitable mission. Quick snapshot: Forty-seven staff, seven direct reports, an active development pipeline including eighteen lots at no land cost, and plans to pursue Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) status. The Board is evaluating for-profit and nonprofit backgrounds against the same criteria. Applications reviewed on a rolling basis. Open until filled.
