Job summary

Habitat for Humanity of the NC Sandhills seeks a Chief Executive Officer to lead strategic direction, financial sustainability and community partnerships. Reporting to the Board, the CEO aligns operations across construction, repair, family services, fundraising and ReStore activities.

The role drives multi-million-dollar budgeting and engages major donors and sponsors. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of executive nonprofit leadership, strong communication, and a proven ability to steward

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a nonprofit at the executive level.
• Strong track record in developing and executing fundraising campaigns.
• Outstanding communication and public presentation skills.
• Experience building partnerships with communities, government, and sponsors.

Responsibilities

• Translate long-term plans into annual operating goals and KPI dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards, policies and regulations.
• Oversee budgeting, fundraising and multi-revenue streams with focus on sustainability.
• Lead a distributed senior leadership team and cultivate a mission-driven culture.
