Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
• 20+ years of senior leadership experience in enterprise growth, government markets, or defense-adjacent industries; energy efficiency, clean generation, and resiliency solutions experience strongly preferred.
• Proven record of winning and scaling Department of War contracts, including complex, multi-year programs.
• Demonstrated success leading capture and business development for Department of War customers, including shaping opportunities and executing proposals.
• Experience leading complex government-facing commercial arrangements and working within regulated contracting environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated Department of War market and contracts strategy aligned with enterprise growth objectives.
• Lead end-to-end business development and capture efforts, including opportunity identification, qualification, capture planning, and proposal strategy.
• Drive pricing, deal structuring, and margin management for complex contracts.
• Establish and manage teaming arrangements, alliances, joint ventures, and partner ecosystems to improve win rates.
• Provide day-to-day leadership to develop and execute plans that maximize business opportunities and manage risk.
