Job summary

Leidos Energy seeks a strategic Vice President, Human Resources to lead people strategy for a growing, multi‑billion‑dollar energy business. Based in Reston, VA, you will partner with the Energy SVP to shape organization, leadership, culture, and workforce capabilities for growth and transformation.

You will drive organizational design, talent management, succession planning, and workforce analytics while advancing AI adoption and workforce productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• Experience as senior HR leader or strategic HR business partner for a large, complex organization.
• Strong business and financial acumen with ability to translate strategy into workforce actions.
• Experience leading organizational transformation, change, and growth.
• Experience with organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, and culture.
• Experience in a matrixed enterprise environment.
• Experience supporting M&A, integration, or significant business transformation.
• Understanding of AI, automation, and workforce productivity implications.

Responsibilities

• Advise the Energy Business Area SVP on organization, leadership, talent, culture, and workforce strategy.
• Translate Energy’s growth strategy into integrated people and organizational strategy.
• Lead organizational change and transformation, preparing leaders and employees for growth.
• Shape the organizational model for growth including structure, leadership capabilities, and operating effectiveness.
• Develop a forward-looking workforce strategy anticipating skill requirements and capacity.
• Lead succession planning and leadership development to strengthen the pipeline.
• Attract, develop, engage, and retain differentiated talent in engineering, technical, digital, and energy.
• Partner with leaders to build a high-performance culture with accountability and agility.
• Oversee HR Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated talent, compensation, benefits, learning, and planning.
• Lead and develop a high-performing HR team within the Leidos framework.
