Urban Plates LLC in San Diego is seeking an experienced Chef / Executive Kitchen Manager to lead culinary operations, ensure top quality food, and manage BOH teams.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking from scratch with fresh, quality ingredients.
• Experience managing Cost of Goods and inventory management.
• Experience leading and developing BOH Team Members including Prep and Line Cooks, Sous Chefs, and Jr. Sous Chefs.
• Experience with state-of-the-art kitchens and top-of-the-line equipment (Rational Ovens, blast chillers, Kitchen Display System, Date Code Genie, and HRIS/ POS platforms).

Responsibilities

• The Chef position is responsible for management of all culinary operations in the restaurant.
• Oversee kitchen operations and ensure excellent food quality.
• Manage Team Member performance and communicate with GM/Regional Chef.
• Coordinate with General Manager, Regional Chef, and Area Director.
