Urban Plates is seeking a Chef to oversee all culinary operations in the Davis restaurant, ensuring exceptional food quality and performance. You will manage team members across BOH functions and collaborate with the General Manager and regional leadership to drive consistent results.

The role emphasizes hands-on kitchen leadership, cost controls, and adherence to our high standards in a fast-paced environment with ongoing training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking from scratch with fresh, quality ingredients.
• Experience managing Cost of Goods and inventory management.
• Experience leading and developing BOH Team Members including prep and line cooks and sous chefs.
• Experience with state-of-the-art kitchens and top-of-the-line equipment and tech platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all culinary operations in the restaurant and ensure excellent food quality.
• Coordinate with the General Manager, Regional Chef and Area Director to align on goals and performance.
