Job summary

Urban Plates is seeking a Chef/Executive Kitchen Manager in Pleasant Hill, CA, responsible for overseeing all culinary operations in the restaurant. You will ensure exceptional food quality, manage Team Member performance, and coordinate with management.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing Prep and Line Cooks, Sous Chefs, and Jr. Sous Chefs.
• Ability to manage performance and communicate effectively.
• Must uphold excellent food quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage all culinary operations in the restaurant.
• Ensure excellent food quality and manage team performance.
• Communicate and coordinate with General Manager and Regional Chef.

Skills

Experience cooking from scratch with fresh, quality ingredients.

Experience managing Cost of Goods and inventory management.

Experience leading and developing BOH Team Members.

Experience with state-of-the-art kitchen equipment and systems.
