Urban Plates is seeking a talented Chef/Restaurant Manager in Pleasant Hill, CA to lead culinary operations with a focus on quality and guest experience. You will oversee kitchen activities, coach BOH staff, and ensure food quality aligns with brand standards in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include managing costs, inventory, and collaborating with the General Manager, Regional Chef, and Area Director to drive performance, training, and career development for the team.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking from scratch with fresh ingredients.
• Experience managing cost of goods and inventory.
• Experience leading and developing BOH team members including prep and line cooks.
• Experience with state-of-the-art kitchens and top-of-the-line equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant kitchen quality and team performance.
• Coordinate with General Manager, Regional Chef and Area Director.
• Use excellent professional judgment in carrying out duties.
