Job summary

Petro-Hunt, L.L.C., a Dallas-based oil and gas exploration company, is seeking a Help Desk Technician for its Uptown Dallas office. The role requires strong End User Support, AD administration, and executive-level assistance in a fast-paced environment.

You will troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, VoIP, and conference room tech, while delivering excellent customer service and ensuring secure, up-to-date systems for leadership and staff.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Help Desk or Desktop Support experience.
• Experience administering Microsoft Active Directory.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
• Experience troubleshooting printers, scanners, and peripherals.
• Experience with VoIP and conference room technology.
• Experience supporting executive/C-level users.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level support for hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, mobile devices, and peripheral issues.
• Respond to service desk tickets, emails, phone calls, and walk-up requests promptly.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and related hardware.
• Manage user accounts in Active Directory and assist onboarding/offboarding.
• Install software updates and security patches; maintain licensing.
• Configure conference room and AV equipment; support meetings.
• Support VoIP phone systems and call routing issues.
• Assist with workstation deployment and ergonomic setup.
• Provide white-glove IT support for executives.
