Job summary

The University of Pennsylvania’s Information Systems & Computing (ISC) is seeking an IT Support Specialist, Executive Support, to deliver top-tier end-user assistance to Penn’s leadership and staff. This hybrid role combines on-site and remote support with occasional after-hours coverage.

You will diagnose hardware, software, and network issues, manage intake via ticket systems, and contribute to knowledge base documentation while fostering strong client relationships across campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of IT support experience are required.
• Experience supporting executive-level employees, preferably in higher education.
• Experience supporting Macintosh and Windows operating systems and productivity apps.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level IT support for Penn leadership and staff, remotely and on-site.
• Handle client support intake via phone, email, and ticketing system.
• Maintain relationships with ISC service providers and campus clients; communicate policy updates.
