Job summary

Astrion is seeking an Executive Vice President for Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) to lead the mission area, drive growth, and oversee performance across contracts and programs. The role reports to the President, Mission Solutions, and requires deep defense leadership experience.

The candidate will coordinate with executive teams, manage risk, ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS, and influence strategic outcomes across multiple government and industry partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent military/government executive experience in engineering/science/national security/business/public policy.
• 20+ years of progressively responsible leadership in defense, aerospace, or national security programs.
• Experience leading complex organizations with accountability for financial performance, customer outcomes, staffing, risk, and growth.
• Experience engaging senior U.S. Government or defense stakeholders and translating mission needs into executable strategies.
• Understanding of government contracting, FAR/DFARS-driven execution, and compliant engagement.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute the IAMD mission-area strategy and cross-enterprise plans.
• Own revenue, margin, cash, and customer outcomes against established targets.
• Build trusted relationships with government customers and mission stakeholders across services and agencies.
• Translate mission requirements into differentiated services and repeatable solutions.
• Lead growth by shaping opportunities, improving pipeline quality, and ensuring profitable, executable solutions.
