Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking an experienced HR Consultant / Executive HR Support to join a busy HR team. This dual-role positions combines high-level executive support, HR administration, project coordination, internal communications, and compliance support.

The ideal candidate will back a Chief Human Resources Officer as a trusted right hand, handling confidential information with discretion and driving HR initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of HR experience, preferably in a large, high-volume environment.
• Advanced SharePoint knowledge and proficient in MS Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with I-9 processes and employment eligibility compliance.
• Project coordination experience and ability to work independently.
• Ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level administrative support to the CHRO, including calendar management, reports, presentations, correspondence, and special projects.
• Serve as gatekeeper for the CHRO, helping manage priorities, communications, and follow-up.
• Support HR leadership with planning, tracking, and execution of department initiatives.
• Assist with applicant screening and other HR administrative functions as needed.
• Develop and coordinate internal HR communications with leadership and Communications teams.
• Provide high-level clerical and administrative support to the HR department.
• Help lead and coordinate an ongoing I-9 compliance/audit project, including reviewing records and communicating with employees.
• Work closely with IT on a SharePoint project to prepare an internal HR site for go-live.
• Support data tracking, reporting, and analysis using advanced Excel.
• Handle sensitive and confidential HR information with professionalism and discretion.
