Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services in Cayce, SC seeks a versatile HR Generalist / HR Project Specialist for a long-term contract. You will support leadership and employees across employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and compensation in a dynamic project-driven environment.

Responsibilities include high-level HR generalist support, full-cycle recruiting, I-9 and E-Verify compliance, updating job descriptions, and assisting with classification and compensation projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field required.
• 1–2 years HR experience preferred; broad HR exposure valued.
• Experience with I-9 and E-Verify processes is strongly preferred; Microsoft 365 skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level HR generalist support across HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, employee records, and special projects.
• Support full-cycle recruitment activities, including job posting development, applicant screening, candidate referrals, hiring documentation, and manager communication.
• Assist with I-9 and E-Verify compliance projects by reviewing documentation, addressing discrepancies, communicating with employees, and supporting audits.
• Review, revise, and update position descriptions by gathering supervisor input, interpreting duties, and ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support classification and compensation projects by organizing position information, reviewing duties, researching HR guidelines, and assisting HR leadership.
• Manage multiple time-sensitive HR projects, track progress, follow up with stakeholders, maintain confidentiality, and adapt to changing priorities.
