Job summary

JLL is seeking an experienced HR Strategy & PMO professional in Chicago to partner with an HRE member. You will drive the strategic HR agenda, enhance governance, and manage cross-functional projects.

You’ll prepare executive materials and coordinate leadership meetings with a focus on change management and stakeholder alignment. The role requires 5+ years in HR or PMO work, strong communication, and proficient Office tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of HR, project management, and/or consulting experience.
• Proficient with PowerPoint and Excel to develop executive materials.
• Proven success in project management activities.
• In-depth knowledge of HR practices, trends, and technologies.
• PMO Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with the HRE member to set and drive the strategic agenda each year.
• Support improvement of HR governance frameworks within the remitted area.
• Set agendas, take minutes, distribute and track action items for team meetings.
• Identify, monitor, and track key HRE priorities.
• Coordinate leadership materials and support in-person meetings.
• Prepare ad hoc data analyses as needed.
• Identify change management gaps and ensure initiatives are implemented.
• Serve as strategic thought partner to the HRE team member.
• Liaise with Deputy Chiefs of Staff to ensure messaging alignment.
• Support HRE communications as needed.
• Provide PMO support including scoping, project plans, progress, risk, and governance.
• Keep apprised of project progress and strategic implications within remit.
