Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Manager for a well-established manufacturing client just west of Pittsburgh. You will join the executive leadership to influence people strategy, culture, and workforce planning for a 130-employee, 24/7 unionized operation, reporting to the CEO/President and Plant Manager.

This role blends strategic leadership with day-to-day HR operations on site, including labor relations, benefits, compliance, and talent development, with

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including leadership role.
Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment with CBA administration and labor relations.
Strong knowledge of federal and state employment regulations (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA).

Responsibilities

Lead recruiting, onboarding, workforce planning, and succession initiatives.
Oversee benefits portfolio (healthcare, COBRA, retirement, life/AD&D, workers' comp).
Serve as Plan Administrator for 401(k) and support Corporate Secretary duties.
Partner with safety and plant leadership to uphold policies and a safe workplace.
Prepare HR reporting for senior leadership and Board.
