Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Allegheny County near Pittsburgh seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager to join the executive leadership team. You’ll be a visible partner to the CEO, Plant Manager, and senior leaders, shaping people strategy in a 130-employee, 24/7 unionized manufacturing environment.

This role blends strategic HR with day-to-day operations, from labor relations to recruitment, benefits, succession planning, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or a closely related field required.
• PHR or SPHR certification is a plus.
• 10+ years progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic member of the executive leadership and production planning teams.
• Lead recruiting, onboarding, workforce planning, and succession initiatives.
• Oversee benefits portfolio including healthcare, COBRA, retirement, and disability.
• Manage labor relations, grievance procedures, and interpretation of the CBA.
• Coordinate HR reporting and updates to senior leadership and Board.
