Job summary

Loews Miami Beach Hotel seeks a detail-driven Manager of Housekeeping to lead daily operations across guestrooms and public spaces. You will drive room turns, staffing, and procedures to uphold the property’s high standards of cleanliness and guest comfort.

You’ll supervise the Housekeeping team, hire and mentor staff, and collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service. Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience required.
• Minimum of two (2) years housekeeping experience in hotel hospitality and minimum of two (2) years housekeeping or guest service leadership experience required.
• Previous experience with Opera Property Management System preferred.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective operating and control processes designed to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction criteria.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring rooms and public spaces meet Loews' exacting standards
• Analyze room turns and staffing needs, making real-time adjustments to optimize performance
• Develop and implement housekeeping procedures that drive efficiency and maintain a pristine environment
• Interview, hire, and mentor team members, fostering growth and engagement
• Maintain optimal staffing levels and manage labor costs effectively
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction
• Oversee uniform and laundry services, ensuring quality and timeliness
• Hold regular team meetings to share updates, celebrate wins, and address challenges
• Evaluate team performance and coach for continuous improvement
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs
• Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned
