Job summary

The Willard InterContinental Washington, DC, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, is seeking an Assistant Executive Housekeeper to uphold our standards and lead housekeeping and laundry operations. You will coach a team, manage supplies, address guest requests, and ensure safety and compliance with laws.

This role requires a bachelor's degree in hospitality and at least 3 years in hotel housekeeping with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in hospitality or related field.
• 3+ years total experience in a hotel housekeeping setting or related field.
• Direct supervisory experience over a housekeeping team.
• Must speak local language(s).

Responsibilities

• Managing, coaching, and developing a team dedicated to exceptional housekeeping and laundry standards.
• Maintaining and ordering supplies and equipment –while minimising waste –in support of our green initiatives.
• Addressing special requests for guests, VIPs, repeat visitors and VIP Club members.
• Assisting with deep cleaning projects and occasionally assisting your team during busy periods.
• Educating all team members on the importance of remaining compliant with federal, state, and local laws.
• Maintaining the highest safety standards.
• Monitoring budget and controlling expenses with a focus on productivity.
