Job summary

PM-Hospitality-Strategies, Inc. is seeking an Executive Housekeeper for Homewood Suites at the Washington DC Convention Center.

The role oversees all housekeeping and laundry functions, ensuring cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas, with focus on guest satisfaction and operational excellence. The candidate will supervise teams, train staff, manage scheduling and budgets, and collaborate with hotel leadership.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Hotel Management or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of housekeeping management experience in a hotel.
• Experience in coaching, mentoring and teambuilding.
• Excellent customer service, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervising the cleanliness of guest rooms and all hotel areas.
• Selecting, training, and developing team members.
• Providing clear direction in assigning, scheduling and instructing staff.
• Planning and conducting staff meetings and disseminating information.
• Managing housekeeping and laundry budgets and inventory controls.
