Job summary

Middletown Hotel Management is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead the Housekeeping Department across our hotel properties. You will oversee daily operations, ensure the highest cleanliness standards, and develop a high-performing team dedicated to guest satisfaction.

The role requires a proven supervisory background in hotel housekeeping, strong communication, and budgetary skills; opportunity to shape departmental performance and contribute to guest experience.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers and basic arithmetic for scheduling, budgeting, and ordering.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds individually; ability to assist with heavier loads in a team effort.
• Physically demanding environment with varying temperatures; high attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Train, schedule, evaluate, and direct all Housekeeping Department personnel.
• Maintain open communication between management and housekeeping staff.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Manage supply inventory and budget planning with senior management.
• Coordinate with Front Office on daily arrival patterns and security procedures.
• Conduct regular training and safety inspections; enforce department standards.
