Job summary

The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for leading the Housekeeping Department and ensuring all guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, laundry operations, and related service areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, safety, and guest satisfaction.

This role supervises housekeeping team members, manages daily room assignments, inspects rooms and public spaces, maintains inventory and supplies, controls labor and expenses, supports brand standards,

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping leadership experience in a hotel or hospitality environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of guest room cleaning standards and laundry operations.
• Ability to lead, train, motivate, and hold team members accountable.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee room and public area cleaning to brand standards and guest satisfaction.
• Lead, train, schedule, and evaluate housekeeping and laundry staff.
• Assign rooms and monitor status to support timely check-ins.
• Coordinate with Maintenance on room defects and keep areas safe.
• Manage linen, supplies, and inventory with cost awareness.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, QA, audits, and safety policies.
• Maintain visible leadership and communicate across departments.
• Address performance issues promptly and maintain team morale.
