Job summary

HRI Properties is seeking an Executive Housekeeper in downtown Tampa to lead daily housekeeping operations for a modern hotel/resort complex that includes Hyatt brands. You will supervise staff, manage schedules, and ensure brand cleanliness standards across guest rooms and public spaces.

The role requires 3–5 years in housekeeping at a hotel or resort and at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity, with experience in property management systems preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s preferred in hospitality.
• 3–5 years housekeeping experience in a hotel/resort.
• 2+ years in supervisory/management role.
• Experience with property management or housekeeping systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily housekeeping operations ensuring brand cleanliness standards.
• Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate housekeeping staff.
• Inspect rooms and public areas for quality assurance.
• Manage inventory, linens, and equipment; control costs.
• Monitor labor, productivity, and budget adherence.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance for readiness.
• Respond to guest concerns and resolve issues professionally.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel or resort environment.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or management role required.
• Experience with property management or housekeeping systems (OnQ, Opera, HotSOS, or similar) preferred.

Skills & Knowledge

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor departmental labor, productivity, and budget adherence.
• Collaborate with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure efficient room readiness.
• Respond promptly to guest concerns and service requests and resolve issues professionally.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and safety regulations.
• Implement and maintain housekeeping procedures, checklists, and operational standards.
• Participate in management meetings and provide operational reporting as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
