Job summary

HOAMCO seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead HOA governance, financial oversight, and administrative operations for a 1,320+ home community. The role requires cross-functional oversight of landscape, F&B, spa, and events, plus strong compliance and leadership skills.

As a senior operations leader, you will back up the General Manager, coordinate across CCMA/WMA/MRTA, and ensure exceptional service for residents and staff within a luxury resort setting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive leadership in large HOA/CID management.
• Deep knowledge of California HOA law and disclosure processes.
• Strong budget, variance analysis, and P&L experience across multiple entities.
• Experience managing large-scale landscape operations and vendor contracts.
• Direct oversight of F&B, spa, and event operations in luxury settings.
• Experience in multi-association environments and cross-entity coordination.
• Proficient computer skills and HOA management software familiarity.
• HOA-specific education or certifications required or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Lead HOA governance, compliance, and financial administration across associations.
• Oversee landscape vendor contracts and performance reviews.
• Coordinate cross-association activities and board reporting.
• Prepare board packets and manage meetings per CA standards.
• Maintain operations knowledge of F&B, spa, and events to act as GM backup.
