Job summary

HOAMCO seeks an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in governing a 1,320+ home HOA community at Monarch Dunes and to oversee resort operations as needed. The role focuses on governance, compliance, budgeting, and cross-functional leadership across HOA, F&B, spa, and events in a luxury setting.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in CID/HOA leadership, California statutory knowledge, and strong financial, landscape, and operations management experience in a resort or private club

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive leadership in large HOA/CID management.
• Deep knowledge of California Davis-Stirling Act and Civil Code.
• Experience with HOA budgeting and P&L oversight across multiple entities.
• Direct landscape operations oversight and vendor contract management.
• Experience in luxury resort or private club settings with F&B and spa operations.

Responsibilities

• Enforce CC&Rs, Bylaws, and Rules per California law.
• Assist GM with annual budget prep and variance analysis.
• Oversee landscape operations and vendor compliance across the community.
• Coordinate cross-association activities (CCMA, WMA, MRTA).
• Prepare board meeting packets and manage executive session minutes.
• Provide backup supervision for F&B, spa, and banquet/event operations.
