Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; JD, MBA, MPA, or equivalent preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in insurance regulation, regulatory affairs, legal, compliance, government affairs, or related disciplines.
• Deep understanding of state insurance regulation, examinations, investigations, and government affairs.
• Demonstrated leadership of complex regulatory initiatives and executive-level engagement.
• Strong executive presence, strategic thinking, and relationship management skills.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and navigate high-profile regulatory matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise regulatory affairs strategy, governance framework, and operating model.
• Serve as primary liaison for significant regulatory and legislative matters; provide strategic counsel to senior leadership.
• Oversee examinations, inquiries, investigations, subpoenas, and other regulatory matters; ensure timely engagement.
• Lead market conduct strategy, corrective action planning, and remediation programs.
• Coordinate regulatory and legislative positioning with stakeholders across the organization.
• Oversee rate, form, and product filing strategy and governance; partner with Product, Pricing, Legal, and Compliance.
