Job summary

State Street is seeking the Global Head of Regulatory Examination Management within the Global Regulatory Liaison Office to lead the firm’s global examination program, coordinating intake, scope, scheduling, responses, and closeout across jurisdictions.

The role requires deep regulatory knowledge, executive communication, and the ability to influence Risk, Compliance, Legal and boards, while building a high-performing team and driving continuous improvement in governance and readiness.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience in regulatory examination management.
• Deep understanding of regulatory examination processes and supervisory engagement.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional efforts and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong executive communication skills for senior management, boards and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global regulatory examination program across jurisdictions.
• Oversee end-to-end examination management: intake, scoping, scheduling, responses, closeout.
• Coordinate with Risk, Compliance and Legal to ensure timely, accurate responses.
• Partner with Regulatory Relationship Management for supervisory interactions and briefing materials.
• Ensure clear, concise regulatory submissions and governance reporting to senior management and the Board.
• Identify themes from examinations and drive process improvements and readiness.
• Lead, develop and mentor a high-performing team.
