Job summary

BAO Consulting Group is seeking an Executive Vice President of Growth to own the firm’s revenue engine, lead the business development function, and partner with the President and founders.

You will drive growth across markets and service lines, develop a high-impact BD team, and manage strategic relationships with PE sponsors, anchor clients, and referral sources in a boutique advisory platform. This is a named executive role requiring scale in professional services.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in professional services with senior growth leadership.
• Track record of building and scaling revenue at a consulting/advisory/financial services firm with $5M+ annual revenue
• Proven people leadership in building a BD/growth team.

Responsibilities

• Own BAO’s revenue growth strategy: set targets, build plans, and execute across markets.
• Build, lead, and scale BAO’s Business Development function from the ground up.
• Drive the firm’s strategic relationships with PE sponsors, anchor clients, and referrals.
• Define market positioning, pricing strategy, and differentiation with the leadership team.
• Lead go-to-market activities: marketing, brand, events, and digital footprint.
• Oversee the full sales process: pipeline, proposals, win/loss, and deal economics.
