Job summary

The Management Trust is seeking a Golf Course Superintendent for Skyline Mountain Resort in Fairview, UT. The role oversees the golf course operations, maintenance, and staff to deliver a high-quality experience for homeowners, guests, and employees.

Reporting to the General Manager, this exempt, full-time position requires strong agronomic knowledge, budgeting skills, and leadership, with DOE salary expectations. On-site work with standard scheduling and potential long hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience managing an 18-hole executive course.
• Strong knowledge of golf and how the game is played.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Lead the agronomic, cost control, and personnel needs of the golf department.
• Recruit, train, and retain Golf Course Maintenance staff.
• Monitor ongoing equipment maintenance for efficiency and uptime.
• Oversee the irrigation system and water conservation efforts.
• Develop the department’s annual operating budget and capital plans.
• Serve as a liaison between departments and prepare reports as needed.
