Job summary

Omni Nashville Hotel, part of Omni Hotels & Resorts, seeks a General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations in our on-site Bob's Steak & Chop House. You will lead service excellence, manage staff, control costs, and ensure compliance with food safety and company standards.

The role requires strong leadership, restaurant operations experience, ServSafe certification, and a track record of staff development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in a management role, preferably in a steakhouse.
• Computer skills with MS Word and Excel.
• Proficiency in food planning, purchasing, sanitation, security and personnel management.
• Valid driver's license and ServSafe certification.

Responsibilities

• General: manage daily restaurant operations and oversee staff performance.
• Financial: control costs and ensure invoices and payroll are processed on time.
• Food safety: enforce sanitary practices and maintain high quality.
• Guest service: ensure positive guest experiences and handle complaints.
• Operational: ensure security, safety, scheduling, and conduct investigations.
• Personnel: hire, train, coach, and develop employees; create staffing plans.
