Job summary

The California Club in Downtown Los Angeles seeks a General Manager to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight, preserving the Club’s history, traditions, and culture while delivering exceptional member experiences across dining, programming, and lodging. You will partner with the Board and committees to align priorities with a long-term vision.

Ideal candidates bring a decade of senior leadership in clubs or luxury hospitality, strong financial acumen, and a proven track record

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; advanced degree desirable.
• Certifications such as CCM or CCE highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to the Board and committees.
• Oversee operations across dining, social programming, and overnight accommodations.
• Develop budgets, forecast financial performance, and guide capital investments.
• Foster a culture of accountability, service excellence, and workforce development.
• Maintain strong member relations and ensure exceptional member experiences.
