Job summary

The Pacific-Union Club in San Francisco seeks a General Manager to serve as chief operating officer, overseeing day-to-day operations, financial performance, member experience, facilities, and staff. Reporting to the Board, the GM will translate policy into effective club operations while maintaining discretion and exemplary hospitality.

The General Manager will balance tradition with thoughtful evolution to serve current and future generations, delivering refined dining, events, overnight

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Hospitality Management; advanced degree desirable.
• 7–10+ years of GM/COO or equivalent leadership in high-end hospitality.
• Certifications CCM or CCE or similar are highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for day-to-day operations, financial performance, member experience, facilities and staff.
• Report to the Board of Directors and translate policies into effective club operations.
• Deliver sophisticated and personalized member experience across dining, events, overnight accommodations, and services.
• Balance preservation of tradition with thoughtful evolution for current and future members.
• Direct reports include multiple department heads and operations staff.
