Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a General Manager for The Westin Cleveland Downtown. You will lead the hotel’s operations and financial activities, safeguarding assets and shaping the culture across the property to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires strategic oversight, strong leadership, and hands-on management of rooms and F&B, with travel for corporate meetings and committees as needed. Competitive compensation and benefits accompany this on-site opportunity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of management experience in hospitality.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, marketing plans, budget forecasting, and quality assurance.
• Ability to lead and develop management teams; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a customer-driven hotel with a vision that inspires staff.
• Oversee property condition, cleanliness, cost control, and service quality daily.
• Lead human resources activities: hire, train, evaluate, and discipline when needed.
• Participate in sales and revenue management and committee work.
• Guide Executive Committee and staff to make sound business decisions.
