Job summary

WD seeks a Senior Director of Finance for the Data Center Segment to drive financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management for a multi-billion-dollar portfolio including HDD, nearline storage, and next-generation capacity storage solutions.

The role partners with Sales, Planning, and Pricing to translate market dynamics into actionable financial insights and leads a finance organization to support executive decision-making and long-range planning.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (required).
MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Business (preferred).
CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end planning processes (AOP, forecasts, long-range plans).
Forecast revenue and gross margin across data center segments.
Partner with Sales, Planning, and Pricing to align forecasts with commitments and pricing strategy.
Develop KPIs and dashboards for revenue, margin, ASP trends, and profitability.
Provide strategic financial analysis for executive reviews and business cases.
