Job summary

Western Digital Corp. is seeking a strategic, data-driven professional to own and lead cross-functional projects that shape data storage and adjacent ventures. You’ll conduct market sizing, competitive analysis, and customer insights to inform executives and Board discussions.

You will develop executive-ready materials, build financial models, and partner with commercial, product, and finance teams to drive decisions and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years experience in consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or a research-intensive analytical role.
• Ability to own and lead complex strategic projects with C-suite output quality.
• Strong financial acumen including models, scenario analysis, and business case development.
• Experience conducting primary and secondary research to inform strategic recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication; cross-functional collaborator.

Responsibilities

• Own strategic projects end-to-end including market sizing, competitive landscaping, end customer and segment analysis, GTM frameworks, and partner assessments.
• Develop executive-quality deliverables: decks, one-pagers, briefing notes, read-outs for C-suite and Board audiences.
• Build and maintain financial and analytical models including market sizing and scenario analysis.
• Collaborate with commercial, product, and finance stakeholders to drive alignment and decisions.
