Job summary

Western Digital seeks a Senior Director of Finance for the Data Center Segment to drive financial strategy, planning, forecasting, and performance management for a multi-billion-dollar product portfolio serving hyperscale cloud providers and OEMs.

You will translate market dynamics and product transitions into actionable insights, partnering with executive leadership to ensure profitability and strategic alignment across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field is required.
• MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Business is preferred.
• CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification is a plus.
• Progressive finance leadership experience with growth in scope and responsibility.
• Experience in technology, hardware, storage, or manufacturing industries is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end planning process including AOP, quarterly forecasts, monthly outlooks, and long-range plans.
• Lead revenue and gross margin forecasting across DC customer segments with emphasis on accuracy.
• Partner with Sales, Business Planning, and Pricing to align forecasts with commitments and pricing strategy.
• Translate market trends into quantified financial impact for executive planning.
