Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland is seeking a Director of Facilities to lead the safety, reliability, and performance of the property’s building systems, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and life safety.

You will drive daily operations, preventive maintenance, and capital projects to ensure energy efficiency, cost control, and exceptional guest experiences. The role requires a four-year degree or equivalent, 7–10 years of supervision across facilities trades, and Maryland license

Qualifications

Four-year degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience supervising large, complex facilities with multiple trades.
License/credential requirements to operate in Maryland facilities and comply with regulations.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of Facilities and Grounds departments, ensuring efficiency and safety.
Manage contracts and relationships with third-party vendors and ensure service quality.
Prepare and manage department budget, strategic initiatives, and energy efficiency plans.
Conduct regular facility inspections and document maintenance in the CMMS.
Lead capital projects and renovations, incl. planning, budgeting, and bidding compliance.
Ensure permits and licenses are secured and regulatory codes are met.
Maintain safety programs to reduce injuries and protect guests and team members.
Set performance standards and promote teamwork and high-service levels.
