Job summary
The Facilities Mechanic III at Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland ensures the reliable, safe operation of all building systems across the property, performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and life-safety equipment to minimize downtime and protect facility integrity.
You will identify issues, implement repairs, and uphold maintenance standards to support guest comfort and team safety, with responsibilities spanning the casino, hotel, and event spaces and requiring
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent. Some technical school training and certification is
- Three (5) years of building maintenance experience.
- A valid driver’s license may be necessary.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid non-gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission.
Responsibilities
- Operation, repair, and maintenance of the Casino, Hotel, and Event spaces.
- Perform general maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Perform inspections and tours repairing or reporting any issues.
- Able to make building repairs such as drywall, wallpaper, flooring, ceiling, and furniture as needed.
- Monitor building fire alarm, temperature control, lighting, and access systems.
- Respond to emergencies such as leaks, power or HVAC outages, or fire alarms.
- Other duties as assigned
