Job summary
Live! Casino & Hotel in Maryland seeks a Facilities Mechanic II to ensure safe, reliable operation of building systems across the property.
You will perform maintenance, inspections, and timely repairs to mechanical, electrical, and life-safety equipment, supporting guest comfort and team safety. The role requires a Grade 3 Stationary Engineer license, 3 years of building maintenance experience, and the ability to work a swing shift (3:00pm–12:00am).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
- Requires Grade 3 Stationary Engineer license.
- Three years of building maintenance experience.
- Valid driver’s license may be necessary.
- Must obtain Maryland non-gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission.
Responsibilities
- Operate, repair, and maintain casino, hotel, and event spaces.
- Perform general maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Inspect and report issues.
- Make building repairs (drywall, wallpaper, flooring, ceiling, furniture).
- Monitor fire alarm, HVAC, lighting, and access systems.
- Respond to emergencies (leaks, outages, fire alarms).
- Other duties as assigned.
