Job summary

Westin Hotels & Resorts seeks a strategic leader to oversee the property’s food and beverage/culinary operations, including Restaurants/Bars, Room Service and Banquets/Catering where applicable. You will develop and implement departmental strategies and ensure execution of brand service initiatives to meet guest expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, event management, or related area.
• Or a 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel/Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 4 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains food and beverage goals and budgets aligned with brand strategy.
• Reviews financial reports and leads actions to improve department performance and profitability.
• Leads food and beverage leadership team and drives guest satisfaction and service excellence.
• Establishes open, collaborative relationships with direct reports and maintains clear communication.
• Provides guidance on human resources activities, performance management, and staff development.
• Identifies opportunities to increase profits and implement cost controls and process improvements.
