Job summary

The Executive Director, Workday, in Information Solutions at the Medical University of South Carolina leads the strategy, design, development, and governance of the enterprise Workday platform. This role builds and guides a high-performing team delivering service leadership and platform enhancements.

Reporting to the Associate CIO, this role partners with business and IS stakeholders to drive digital transformation, standards, and secure, scalable implementation across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in IS leadership roles with enterprise business applications.
• 10+ years of expertise in Workday support and enterprise application strategies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Workday lifecycle to ensure scalability, security, and interoperability across departments.
• Lead the Workday strategy and vision across the enterprise.
• Manage business analysis, development, and implementation to meet stakeholder needs and program capabilities.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery, upgrades, integrations, and user adoption.
• Oversee contracts, SLAs, and vendor performance to ensure value delivery.
• Mentor a team of application managers, developers, analysts, and solution architects.
