Job summary

GHX Seeking an Executive Director, Total Rewards to lead enterprise-wide compensation, benefits, wellbeing, HR systems, and payroll strategy at scale. You will translate business strategy into differentiated total rewards programs, partnering with the CHRO and executive leadership to support growth, M&A, and transformation.

The ideal candidate blends executive presence with rigorous analytics, guiding board materials and plan design decisions in a data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in total rewards.
• 8+ years in a senior leadership role directing compensation, benefits, and/or HRIS/payroll.
• Experience owning total rewards strategy at enterprise or executive level.
• Deep expertise in compensation governance, equity administration, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience leading total rewards through high-growth, transformation, or M&A environments.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise total rewards strategy, governance, and multi-year roadmap.
• Lead compensation architecture, executive pay design, and Board reporting.
• Direct annual compensation planning cycles and equity processes.
• Oversee benefits, wellbeing, and payroll strategy enterprise-wide.
• Manage HRIS data integrity, vendor relations, and operational excellence.
