Job summary

Great Lakes Inter-Tribal Council Inc. in Bowler, Wisconsin, seeks an Executive Director to oversee the Behavioral Health Program at the Adolescent Recovery and Wellness Center (ARWC), a 36-bed start-up inpatient facility.

This leader will provide strategic, clinical, and operational oversight across the organization, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care. The role emphasizes staff development, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and collaboration with Tribes and multidisciplinary teams to

Qualifications

• BSN and Wisconsin RN license with active status.
• Master's degree required or in progress.
• 5–8+ years in tribal health facility leadership.
• BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of Indian Health Service programs.
• Familiarity with Federal contracting regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight for behavioral health programs and ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Develop, hire, mentor, and evaluate staff; build high-performing teams.
• Manage departmental budgets and staffing models.
• Collaborate with Tribes and multidisciplinary teams to integrate services.
