Job summary

Morningside House Senior Living in Maryland is seeking an Executive Director to lead daily operations of the community and drive resident satisfaction, staff engagement, and regulatory compliance.

The role oversees budgeting, safety, quality assurance, growth and development, and marketing initiatives to maintain occupancy targets, while mentoring a team of professionals and ensuring excellent service delivery to residents and families.

Qualifications

• Maryland Assisted Living Manager license is required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of licensed Assisted Living Manager experience.

Responsibilities

• On-site oversight of day-to-day community operations.
• Ensure adherence to all state and federal Assisted Living requirements.
• Manage facility budgeting, forecasting, staffing, and capital needs.
• Implement and drive sales and marketing initiatives to meet occupancy targets.
• Oversee resident, family, and community relations and growth.
• Coach and develop management staff and enforce company policies.
• Provide access to medical and psychosocial services for residents.
• Develop and implement staffing plans including orientation and training.
• Ensure residents' service plans are monitored and coordinated.
• Maintain high quality programs and compliance with regulations.
• Promote dignity, privacy and independence for residents.
• Lead retention and recognition programs and recruit initiatives.
• Oversee recruitment, hiring, training and supervision of all staff.
