Job summary

Morningside Elite Management in Maryland is seeking an Executive Director to lead a senior living community, shaping culture, performance, and resident experience. You will oversee operations, financials, sales, regulatory compliance, and team development, serving as the visible leader for residents, families, associates, and partners.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field, 3+ years executive experience in senior living, ALM licensure, and BLOOM values; compensation ranges

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Gerontology, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of executive-level leadership experience in assisted living, memory care, or a comparable senior living environment.
• Proven track record of financial performance, team development, and operational excellence in a residential care setting.
• Must hold or actively be pursuing an Assisted Living Manager (ALM) license in accordance with applicable state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site, hands-on oversight of all community operations, ensuring day-to-day excellence across resident services, staffing, programming, housekeeping, and physical environment.
• Lead the resident experience and care quality initiatives and maintain strong relationships with residents and families.
• Develop, manage, and be fully accountable for the community’s operating and capital budgets.
• Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing team across all departments, ensuring alignment with BLOOM values.
• Drive occupancy and revenue through tours, family consultations, and referral partnerships.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with DSS/VA, COMAR, and applicable state requirements.
• Represent Morningside publicly as an ambassador of quality memory care and community excellence.
