Job summary

LifeSpan Companion Care in Indianapolis is seeking a General Manager of Operations to lead daily operations of the agency and drive strategic objectives for client care and revenue growth. The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a focus on quality service delivery.

You’ll oversee staff, partner with owners, and ensure alignment with company goals while promoting professional development and operational excellence within a family-oriented team.

Qualifications

• At least two years of management, supervisory, or administrative experience within the past 5 years.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Proficient skills to promote excellent client relations and customer skills.
• People management skills and the ability to network and manage a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Agency.
• Designate employees to act on behalf of the manager as needed.
• Develop company and organizational goals.
• Conduct client satisfaction reviews per policy.
• Stay informed about personal service agency regulations and standards.
• Promote interdepartmental cooperation and resolve disputes.
• Develop employee excellence through recruitment and training.
• Set performance goals with supervisors and evaluate them.
• Participate in strategic planning for education, client care, revenue and PR programs.
• Supervise fiscal activities including budgeting, revenue generation, and contract handling.
• Coordinate department activities like conferences and workshops.
• Monitor records and statistics for planning and evaluation.
• Develop client-care policies with staff and leadership.
• Oversee care delivery to meet client needs.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and client service plans.
• Ensure sufficient personnel to implement the service plan.
• Ensure accuracy of public information materials.
