Job summary

Precision Medicine Group seeks a Senior Director, Scientific Services to lead the scientific team and shape the strategic direction of the Precision laboratory. You will design experimental plans aligned with client needs, manage timelines, and ensure regulatory compliance across GCLP, GLP, CAP, and CLIA frameworks.

You will hire and mentor scientists, drive growth through new products and services, and communicate results to clients while building strong partnerships in translational medicine

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in life sciences required.
• 18+ years of full-time post-doctoral laboratory experience and 10+ years of demonstrated management experience.
• Experience with tissue-based and molecular assays, and familiarity with regulatory guidelines (GCLP/CAP/CLIA/GLP).
• Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring ability; effective communicator with clients.
• Familiarity with FDA Good Clinical Laboratory Practices and CAPA/change control concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of scientific services for clinical trial needs.
• Track progress and ensure timely delivery to client standards.
• Hire, coach and mentor scientists; develop scientific managers.
• Oversee design and development of new products and services.
• Communicate results to clients and maintain long-term relationships.
