Job summary

Sweetwater Care seeks a Director of Rehabilitation to oversee Rehabilitation Services (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy). Under the VP of Rehabilitation Services, you will coordinate day-to-day operations, drive cost-effective, high-quality care, and meet the needs of patients, physicians and staff.

Requirements include a BS in OT/PT/SLP, an active license, at least five years of clinical experience and at least one year in leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have a BS in OT/PT/SLP (Bachelor of Science)
• Licensed in OT, PT, or SLP
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Assumes ultimate responsibility for rehabilitation service operations within assigned region.
• Responsible for service and operational excellence of all assigned activities to ensure quality services.
• Mentors and trains new Director of Rehab to assure consistency of quality rehab services.
• Responsible for providing adequate coverage of therapy services in all facilities in the region.
• Plans, organizes and directs operational activities of Rehabilitation Services; implements system-wide strategic initiatives.
• Reviews quality and effectiveness of therapy programs; oversees development of high-quality, cost-effective clinical programs.
• Develops and maintains staffing plans; provides leadership support to Rehabilitation Service directors and therapists.
• Oversees preparations of rehabilitation services for licensure certification surveys.
